Professional Experience: Ms. Shin has experience practicing in all aspects of trademark and design prosecutions and law suits. Ms. SHIN counsels domestic and foreign clients in regard to Intellectual Property Protection including offering guidance and opinions concerning trademark and design validity, infringement and right to use. She has managed and advised on a number of trademark and design portfolios for a broad range of companies in South Korea. Ms. Shin represented for domestic and global companies – Novartis, Siemens, Swatch, Kolon Industries, KT&G, Have & Be, Woowa Brothers, etc. She continually and actively shares and learns about various IP issues with other professionals and clients. She was an active committee member of the INTA sub-committee, “Well-known famous mark” and was a design committee member for the APAA from 2015-2016. She enjoys taking a walk in the park and forest. She loves to cook Korean foods.
